In this science experiment, explore how you can poke holes in a plastic bag filled with water without spilling a single drop!

Fill a ziploc bag with water and get some freshly sharpened pencils. Kids will love the excitement and anticipation of what will happen when the pencils are poked through the bag!

Hold the pencil in one hand and the top of the bag in the other. Push the pencil right through one side of the bag, through the water, and out the other side! The bag should seal around the pencil as it moves and stop the water from escaping. Try it over the sink or a bowl, just in case it takes a few attempts!
