After School FAQ

Come learn with us, the Go-Go way!

Does my child need separate indoor shoes for Go-Go After School?

Yes, please send a pair of indoor shoes with your child each year on their first day of school. These shoes will be kept on-site to be used only during after school hours.

Please note-children are not permitted to remove their indoor shoes from their classrooms at school to bring to Go-Go.

Do I need to send a snack for after school?

Fredericton & New Maryland: Your child will require a snack every day after school, and a lunch and snack on Wednesdays.

Saint John & surrounding areas: Your child will require a snack every day after school.

*Please remember, we provide a nut-free environment.

How can I reach my child’s After School Program Leader?

Please contact the Go-Go Head Office at afterschool@gogogym.com or (506) 455-5496, and we can contact the on-site coordinators for you.

How will my child’s teacher know my child’s after school plans on their first day attending Go-Go After School?

Please send a note with your child in order to let their teacher know their after school plans. Your child’s teacher will be able to direct them appropriately, and ensure that they get to us each and every day. The Coordinator will be present in our allotted space prior to the dismissal bell each day of the program, and will take attendance when the dismissal bell rings.

If your child travels by Go-Go bus, the school teacher will send your child to the Go-Go bus line. The Go-Go bus driver will take attendance as each child boards the bus.

How many Go-Go Leaders will be on-site at my child’s after school program?

We also include field trips and guest speakers, pending current COVID-19 restrictions.  Families will receive an activity calendar and newsletter in advance of each month to give you an idea of what will be happening at Go-Go. Feel free to print the calendar so you can always see at a glance what is coming up! Activity calendars are also displayed at your child’s after school program.
