Does my child need separate indoor shoes for Go-Go Preschool?
Yes, please send a pair of indoor shoes with your child on their first day of preschool. These shoes will be kept on-site to be used only during preschool hours.
What does my child need to bring each day to Go-Go Preschool?
- One nut-free snack each day (for morning preschool).
- Two nut-free snacks and a lunch (for full-day preschool).
- A water bottle (for morning and full day preschool).
- A change of clothing (pants, shirt, underwear, socks) in their backpack at all times.
- Please dress your child with the appropriate footwear and outerwear fit for the seasonal weather. Please note that in the winter months, your child will need snow pants, a warm coat, hats & mittens. When it is raining, please provide a raincoat, splash pants and rain boots.
What is your toilet training policy?
We ask that children in our program either be toilet trained prior to joining our programs, or are working successfully on this developmental stage. We understand that accidents will happen occasionally, and we will encourage and instruct your child through the necessary steps to ensure that they are comfortable and clean. We request that extra sets of clothing be kept in your child’s backpack in the event of a bathroom accident.
How old does my child need to be to join Go-Go Preschool?
Go-Go Preschool accepts children from three years of age to five years of age. Our Head Office can assist you in finding the perfect program for your little one. Please feel free to reach out to us at preschool@gogogym.com, or by phone at (506) 455-5496.
How can I reach my child’s preschool educator?
Please contact the Go-Go Head Office at preschool@gogogym.com or 1-877-977-4646 (506-455-5496) and we can contact the on-site educator for you.
How many Go-Go Educators will be on-site at my child’s preschool program?
As Go-Go Preschool is a licensed daycare through the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, our program has a minimum of 1 educator for every 10 children.
My child is going to be absent from Go-Go Preschool. Do I need to notify Go-Go?
Yes – it is extremely important to communicate all absences with the Go-Go Head Office at preschool@gogogym.com or (506) 455-5496. Please report all absences by 10:00 am on the day that your child will be missing Go-Go.
My child is going to be late arriving to Go-Go Preschool, do I need to notify Go-Go?

Are there additional fees for Go-Go field trips?
No, there are absolutely no additional fees for field trips! These are included in your regular bi-weekly payments.
Preschool Program Closure Dates:
- Holiday Break: Friday, December 24th, 2021 – Sunday, January 2nd, 2022.
- Family Day: Monday, February 21st, 2022.
- Good Friday: April 15th, 2022.
- Easter Monday: April 18th, 2022.
- Victoria Day: Monday, May 23rd, 2022.
- Canada Day: Friday, July 1st, 2022.
- New Brunswick Day: Monday, August 1, 2022.
What is your inclement weather policy?
To ensure the safety of our Go-Go families and staff, Go-Go Preschool will not operate in extreme weather conditions. Should this occur, Go-Go will update families on our Facebook Page and by email.
What is your withdrawal policy?
We have a 2-week cancellation policy in place should you wish to withdraw from the program. Notice of your withdrawal is required in writing to preschool@gogogym.com.
What are my payment options?
Payments will be processed by automatic debit on a bi-weekly basis (using either a void cheque or a print out from your branch with your account details). Should the payment date fall on a non-business day (weekend or holiday), then the payment will debit the day prior. Please note there is an annual registration fee of $50 for new families or $25 reregistration fee for current Go-Go families.
What happens if my payment bounces?
In the event that your payment does not process successfully, you will be charged a $35 NSF fee (in addition to any fee from your own bank), and payment arrangements will need to be made immediately via cash or email money transfer.
Do you offer financial assistance?
Go-Go Preschool is a licensed preschool facility through the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. As such, parents in need of financial assistance are welcome to apply for Daycare Assistance funding by calling 1-866-444-8838 or by visiting this link.
When will I receive my tax receipt for child care expenses?
You will receive your annual summary tax receipt by email in mid-February of each year.
What types of activities will my child be doing at Go-Go Preschool?
This schedule summarizes a typical day at our centre. As our program emphasizes the importance of flexibility and child centred activities, Go-Go Educators will adjust the schedule as needed.
