Dr. Seuss’ Oobleck
A fun and easy science experiment based on the works of Dr. Seuss! This messy science play can keep your little one busy for hours! This can get QUITE messy, so be prepared!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of Corn Starch
- Food Colouring
- Water
Mix all the ingredients together into a bowl or pan, ensuring that the water is added slowly (only as much as needed to get the result). Once the mixture has a gooey consistency you can start mixing with your hands!
Oobleck is a non-Newtonian fluid; it has properties of both liquids and solids. You can slowly dip your hand into it like a liquid, but if you squeeze or hit the Oobleck, it will feel solid!
