Keep your little ones busy by building their engineering skills! Pull out some toothpicks and playdough, using the playdough as joints to hold the structures together as they build with the toothpicks. Set out some challenges for them to complete and goals to accomplish!

Preschool: Explore the differences between 2D and 3D structures. Can they make a 2D triangle? What about a 3D pyramid? What other shapes can they build?

After School: Can they build a tall, structurally sound tower? What about a bridge? What can they engineer if you add in other supplies, such as popsicle sticks?
