Making paper airplanes is one of the most fun and simple engineering activities you can do with your kids! Make some paper airplanes and have races and contests! Create some targets worth varying points and compete for the highest score. Play with different folding designs. What can you do to your airplane to make it:

• Fly farther? 

Extra STEM Challenge: Cargo! How much cargo can your paper airplane carry? Tape on some smaller items such as coins to the plane. What adjustments need to be made, if any? What can you design to carry the most cargo?
