Job description:

Reporting to the Director of Facilities you will be responsible for the upkeep, repairs and maintenance of our child care centres, office and storage units (interior & exterior) and for the day to day upkeep of our company fleet. The position also requires bus driving for our childcare programs, and truck & trailer driving for our events programs.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• A clear criminal background check.
• A clean driving record.
• A Class 1 or 2 license, or have a class 4 license and are willing to obtain Class 2 license.
• Capable of lifting 75lbs or more, and be able to stand, crouch, bend and kneel for extended periods of time.

You are required to have general knowledge of at least two of the following trades: carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, mechanics, commercial painting, dry walling, landscaping, installation of flooring and/or tile and ceramic work. Training, experience in journeying, and/or having gone to college for at least one of these trades is considered an asset.

*Some weekend work is required during certain times of the year.

Salary: CA$45,000.00 – CA$50,000.00 per year
